No. Kickdown uses your phone's motion sensors to detect when you're driving and activates full location tracking only after a drive begins. Between drives, battery usage is minimal.
You can mark the trip as a passenger drive, and it will be excluded from your driving statistics. The trip will remain saved as a separate record. You can also switch to manual tracking if you prefer to start every drive yourself.
Kickdown is designed to detect road travel. If an incorrect trip is recorded, you can delete it in just a few taps. If you frequently travel by plane or train, we recommend using manual tracking.
Yes. Sign in with Apple or Google to keep your garage, driving history, stats and friends connected to your account. Your data will also be available when you switch to a new device. Setup takes about a minute.
Not yet. Kickdown is currently available on iOS, with Android support coming soon.
No. We never sell your personal or location data or share it with insurance companies, data brokers or other third parties. You can delete your account at any time, and your associated data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
